Alive @ 25

Alive at 25 classes are available this year online.

Students can register by going to www.kentuckysafedriver.com and clicking on “Alive at 25” under “Courses” or by calling the office at 502-699-2995.

Mentors & Meals

Do you love middle school students?  Do you need volunteer/community service hours?

Mentors & Meals is looking for high school students to serve as mentors.  Mentors & Meals provides middle school students with free homework help, hot meals, and structured group activities. If you are interested in helping, please complete this application.

Here is how Mentors & Meals can help WCHS students:

  • Flexible volunteer hours available Monday- Thursday from 3:30-5:30 p.m. M&Ms can work around sports and other organization/club meetings.
  • Within walking distance-First Christian Family Life Center across from CVS is less than 1/2 mile from WCHS
  • **Letters of Rec-**for GSP, GSA, college scholarships, jobs.  M&Ms have literally written hundreds of letters of recommendation.
  • **Possible paid internships/$500 education stipend-**these are available to Juniors and Seniors who have volunteered with the program and are selected after an application and interview process
  • M&Ms is a FUN place to work and students will gain meaningful volunteer experience tutoring and mentoring middle school students.
