Senior College Visits

Seniors taking college visits can return an official letter from the college admission office stating they were in attendance for their official tour. Upon receival of the letter an exempt College Day will be added to the students attendance record.

Students visiting an out of state school can be eligible for exempt travel days if an EHO form is completed and turned in five days before the trip takes place. The EHO only covers the one travel day before and after the visit and is applicable when the note from the college is returned as well. EHO forms can be picked up in the office from Mrs. Jointer.

Student ID Badges

Students have received their student IDs for the 2025-2026 school year. ID badges are used for hall passes, breakfast/lunch, discounted admission into sporting events, school sign in/out, class sign in, library books, etc. It is imperative that students have their ID badge with them on a daily basis. Any student who does not have an ID badge will need to report to Room 225 to receive a temporary badge prior to 8:30am. If a student loses their ID badge, a replacement badge will cost $2.00.

  • TAKING THE  PERMIT TEST? If your student is going for their Learner's Permit they must have a School Verification Form to take their permit test. To obtain a School Verification Form you may submit a request form at the link below or by scanning the QR code to the left or outside of the Front Office. Verification Requests will be completed the following Monday. Students will be called to the front office to obtain a copy of their School Verification Form. Forms are good for 60 Days once completed, please be sure to obtain a form well in advance of your scheduled permit test date

Driver's Permit Form: All permit forms need to be signed and turned in to the office at least 3 days before taking the test. Parents need to fill out the top section of the form. Once we have completed the form, students need to come back to the office to ask if the form is ready or we call them down to get it.

    Get the School Verification Form!

At the initial application for an original Kentucky learner's permit or transfer license only, a 16-17 year old should submit to the Regional Driver License office, one of the following documents: (1) proof of graduation from high school or (2) proof of GED Completion, or (3) a signed and sealed School Compliance Verification: KRS 159-051 (obtained from the student's school). Don't forget to ask for an EXCUSE NOTE!

  • Parents and Guardians, you can now pay your student's fees online. Look for the Fees tab in your parent account on Infinite Campus. Each student will have a $15 Chromebook Insurance Fee and a Student Fee. The student fee is $60 for one student, $50 each for two students (middle and/or high school) and $40 each for three or more students (middle and/or high school). You may have other fees due on your account and we ask you to take care of those as well at this time. We ask that you review the fees before you pay. If you believe your fees are incorrect, please contact the bookkeeper.

  • Parents, if your student plans to attend any school field trips this year and will need to take medication while on the field trip, please keep in mind that there is specific paperwork that must be turned in to the school nurse prior to the field trip. Please contact Michelle Hinman, RN, District Health Coordinator, for more information

  • Enhanced Education Opportunity (EHO) is a form to request an absence to attend or participate in an educational activity. The EHO form needs to filled out by the parents stating the dates and where their child will be during the period of absence. The form must be submitted five (5) days prior to the event for consideration of approval. The principal will then approve, conditionally approve, or disapprove the request. If the EHO is conditionally approved, students must submit official proof of attendance within 5 school days AFTER the educational activity is completed. Final approval will be recorded only after the OFFICIAL proof of the attendance is received. This documented proof should be obtained on the date of the absence event and not prior to the absence. College visits: Students visiting a college DO NOT need to fill out an EHO form. On the day of the college visit, students should ask for an “official excuse” on letterhead that has the date of the visit and the student’s name, along with an official signature. This official proof of attendance should be submitted within 5 school days of returning to school.

*"Events that are not within the standards for approval of EHO days would include funerals, family vacations, sports events, community events and religious events because these are events that are not part of an intensive instructional program." - KDE Pupil Attendance Manual
