Our Top Priority: School Safety 💛👏

Before we can educate and care for our students, we have to make sure they are safe. This is one of the many reasons why school safety for students, staff members, and visitors is our top priority. 

Woodford County Public Schools recently welcomed two teams from the Kentucky Center for School Safety (KCSS) to conduct safety visits. In these visits, the teams toured buildings to provide feedback and interviewed students, staff members, and caregivers to gain insight into how safe they feel at school. 

We are also thankful for Assistant Fire Chief Brown with the Versailles Fire Department for conducting the state fire inspections of our schools. 

These visits and inspections are examples of the work we do every day to keep our kids safe.
